New Zealand's 102 day no community transmission of Covid-19 streak ended last night with the news of four new cases in south Auckland.
As far as officials know, those cases are not linked to any known risk factors or those in managed isolation.
Auckland has been put into Alert Level 3 for three days from midday Wednesday and the rest of the country will return to Alert Level 2 for the same period.
