Frustrated truck drivers with perishable goods on board are still being held up some times for hours as they negotiate Auckland's border controls.
One driver says a trip from Hamilton to Auckland took three hours and another trip from Cambridge to Penrose took four and half hours.
Nick Leggett from the Road Transport Forum, representing truckies, says extra checks of travel dispensation documents are adding to delays.
