A Nelson woman is furious with Work and Income that her efforts to support herself after being made redundant because of Covid-19, have left her financially worse off.
She took on casual hospitality work when her hours as a receptionist were slashed and that effort to support herself made her ineligible for the full Work and Income Covid relief payment.
A union says there are many others in a similar situation.
