Cabinet will announce whether any decision has been made about changing the Alert Level today.
New Zealand is currently at Level 2 across the entire country, although Auckland has some extra restrictions so is in what has been dubbed 'Alert Level 2.5'.
Auckland professor of Public Health, Collin Tukuitonga, thinks extending Alert Level 2.5 in Auckland is the safest course of action.
