The Police have apologised after sharing the Covid-19 status of six jobseekers with potential employers as part of their vetting process.
This follows the release this morning of the Privacy Commissioners Inquiry into the Ministry of Health's disclosure of Covid-19 patient information to emergency services.
The inquiry found that while Police received the information for legitimate purposes, it was for a short while, used in an unacceptable way.
