Students doing well despite lockdown - Māngere principal

The pandemic has caused a 20 percent drop in the number of NCEA credits schools have reported to the Qualifications Authority.

It is not yet clear if there is a real fall in student achievement or just a delay in schools sending results to the authority. 

The government is giving students extra credits this year to help them cross the line but Tom Webb from Māngere College told RNZ education correspondent, John Gerritsen, his students are doing well regardless.
