ACT's David Seymour is riding high on the prospect of bringing several new friends to the halls of power this election.
Tuesday's 1 News Colmar-Brunton Poll saw the ACT Party polling at 7 percent, putting it ahead of New Zealand First and the Green Party.
If that translates on polling day, Seymour would bring eight extra MPs into Parliament.
He told political reporter Jo Moir that people were responding to ACT's talented candidates.
