Thousands of people in California have been forced to flee their homes as new wild fires spread throughout the region.
Officials say dry and windy weather has caused the fires to grow at unprecedented speed - burning up to one acre every five minutes in some areas.
The Governor of California has declared a state of emergency.
There are at least 22 fires actively burning throughout the Western United States.
