The lawyer for the New Zealand Democratic People's Republic of Korea Society is demanding answers from the government after two society members had their homes raided by police.
Matt Robson has written to the Minister of Justice, Andrew Little, and the Minister of Police, Stuart Nash, asking why the raids took place.
He doesn't accept the argument from both ministers that raids are an 'operational' matter.
