A population expert says Auckland schools' rapid growth this year is likely to ease next year before ramping up again.
The Education Ministry is expecting Auckland schools to grow by 60,000 children between 2017 and 2030.
Massey University professor Paul Spoonley told RNZ education correspondent, John Gerritsen, that estimate is likely to be on the low side.
