Country stuck in 'panic then neglect' response - academic
The president of the College of Public Health Medicine Jim Miller says the country is stuck in a 'panic then neglect' response to health emergencies. Dr Miller says the college is training 13 public health doctors this year, in a one-off doubling of training due to covid. Dr Miller says they could train twice as many again - more than 20 - except there is not the money to do it.
