A Māori Party co-leader says she isn't surprised two of Labour's Māori Cabinet ministers are scrapping over the leadership of Oranga Tamariki.
Children's Minister Kelvin Davis has scolded Whanau Ora Minister Peeni Henare for not staying in his own lane.
Henare put Davis in a difficult position after suggesting to media the Oranga Tamariki chief executive, Grainne Moss, was set to resign and wasn't the right person to lead the ministry.
Davis, who is charge of the ministry, has responded saying Henare's comments were "inappropriate and inaccurate''.
Māori Party co-leader Debbie Ngarewa-Packer told political reporter Jo Moir that Moss' time is up.
