The Māori Party's two MPs turned heads walked out in the first session of the new Parliament yesterday.
The incident took place after speaker Trevor Mallard overruled co-leader Rawiri Waititi when he raised a point of order in te reo Māori when seeking to participate in a debate.
Waititi then walked out, along with his co-leader Debbie Ngarewa-Packer.
Ngarewa-Packer speaks to Corin Dann.
