The commissioners who will take over the dysfunctional Tauranga City Council are set to be announced this week.
The Minister for Local Government, Nanaia Mahuta, sacked the council after the city's mayor Mayor Tenby Powell and two other councillors resigned and called for Commissioners to be appointed.
