The artist Bill Hammond is being remembered as a man with a unique vision who will leave an enduring legacy.
The Lyttelton-based painter who died on Saturday in Christchurch, at the age of 73 was considered one of the country's most influential contemporary painters, and noted for the environmental and socially aware themes in his work.
