Waitangi: 'Much to discuss' about speaking rights for female politicians - commentator

Commemorations at Waitangi have been somewhat muted by concerns over Covid-19, but most politicians still travelled north this week to mark the signing of the Treaty in 1840.

A miscommunication meant that speeches by Judith Collins and Marama Davidson planned for after the powhiri were scrapped, but they're hopeful that the issue will be resolved next year.
