Auckland's whirlwind Covid-19 lockdown has ended just three days after it was imposed.
Alert levels dropped overnight , and the city is now at Alert Level 2, while the rest of the country is enjoying the freedom of Alert Level 1.
In Auckland workplaces, restaurants, shops and schools are open for business - with gathering limits of 100 people in place.
The change was recommended by the Director-General of Health Ashley Bloomfield.
This was despite three new community cases being reported yesterday - all with a direct link to the earlier cases at Papatoetoe High School.
