It's V-Day today - the start of the vaccination campaign against Covid-19.
Those vaccinating the border workers will get the jab today, then the border workforce from Saturday, followed by the nationwide roll-out.
Māori health providers fanned out across the country to get flu jabs to as many people as possible in 2020 - and want to do the same again for the pandemic.
They say it's critical the government trains enough community workers and funds mobile clinics for areas with high Māori populations.
