Councils and developers are praising a multi-billion dollar fund which aims to kick start the supply of infrastructure for new housing.
The government's so-called $3.8 billion "accelerator fund" is designed to pay for some infrastructure in public and private sector projects.
But some say this is just a temporary fix to a problem which has been years in the making.
