Funding to rapidly train non-clinical workers to help administer the Covid-19 vaccine to Māori communities is being described as a drop in the bucket.
Māori health providers have been consistently calling for kaimahi to be shown how to give the jab so they can ensure greater coverage.
News that such a scheme will go ahead has been warmly welcomed but the $11 million of government support isn't impressing everyone.
