Auckland GP flooded with enquires for Covid-19 vaccine
Doctors are being indundated by over-65s who thought they could get their Covid-19 vaccine from this week - but can't. The government's roll-out plan says over 65s who don't fall into earlier high risk groups, and people with conditions that make them more susceptible to Covid, will be vaccinated "from May" But the Ministry of Health says for most in this group of 1.7 million, the call-ups won't even begin until the end of the month. Auckland GP John Cameron was one several doctors who told our health correspondent Rowan Quinn they're getting lots of queries.
