A new national campaign is encouraging whānau from around the motu to learn more about the Covid-19 vaccine programme.
Called 'Karawhiua' or 'Be a Doer', it draws on real life experience and medical information to motivate Māori to share their experiences, questions and opinions about getting vaccinated.
The campaign is led by Te Puni Kōkiri in consultation with Māori and Iwi communication specialists and features Dr Mataroria Lyndon, a Northland public health doctor and senior lecturer at the University of Auckland.
He spoke to Susie Ferguson.
