A man who was in the Countdown supermarket in central Dunedin when four people were stabbed yesterday afternoon says it was terrifying.
Three people were taken to hospital in a critical condition and underwent surgery last night. A fourth person suffered moderate injuries.
Their condition this morning has not been released.
The supermarket shopper - who RNZ agreed not to name - told reporter Kate Gregan that the man was yelling and pushing people while other shoppers tried to stop him.
