The New Zealand Super Fund has invested almost $400,000 dollars in a company that has supplied combat aircraft to the Myanmar military.
Those investments are just a tiny slice of the $100 million of shares the fund has in long list of companies with current and historic links to the violence-ridden country.
A military coup in February ousted the elected government and hundreds of protesters have since been killed.
Green Party MP Golriz Ghahraman, a former international human rights lawyer, spoke to Gyles Beckford.
