Health officials are being asked to approve charter flights out of India for New Zealanders desperate to come home.
Journalist Venkat Raman of Auckland-based Indian Newslink told reporter Harry Lock, that travel agents are starting to organise flights and, with government approval, could be ready to start getting people out of India by the end of the month.
