Despite growing calls for Hamas and Israel to agree a ceasefire, the rocket attacks and air strikes show no sign of abating.
In fact violence has increased today on the ninth day of conflict.
So far it has cost twelve lives in Israel and over 200 lives in Gaza including more than 60 children.
With much needed medical supplies and international aid unable to reach Gaza's civilians, the situation is worsening every day.
