More than 50,000 Palestinians have been displaced in 10 days of violent clashes and rocket fire between Israeli military and Hamas forces in Gaza.
As the death toll rises - with at least 219 dead - many civilians are left without aid, crucial medical supplies and safe shelter.
The main access road into Gaza remains closed by the Israeli government leaving no way in for essential international supplies.
