Rotorua shot putter Lisa Adams is thrilled to be heading to her first Paralympic Games in Tokyo in just over 90 days.
Adams, who has cerebral palsy, broke her own F37 shot put world record three times in 2019 - after first getting involved in para athletics the previous year.
The Paralympics will be just her second international event.
If she wants some advice on performing at top she can always ask her coach and sister Dame Valerie Adams who is preparing for her fifth Olympic Games.
Adams spoke to Felicity Reid about the challenges of preparing for the Games and coming from a famous sporting family.
