Patients and staff at Waikato hospital fear what will become of highly sensitive personal information that hackers claim to have stolen from Waikato DHB.
It's entire system crashed a week ago due to a ransomware attack. Now media organisations have been sent an email from a group claiming responsibility.
It contains a link to what appears to be scores of private patient and staff data.
RNZ is not publishing the data and has referred the email to the police.
