Three waters reforms could cost $185b

New figures which show how much three waters reforms could save on ratepayers' water bills is failing to sway the minds of some mayors.

A report out yesterday shows the bill for fixing the country's water infrastructure has ballooned to between $120 billion and $185 billion over thirty years.

It also found that costs would be shared more evenly among ratepayers if proposed reforms go ahead.
