Nurses and district health boards will touch base today to work out what happens from here after thousands took part in yesterday's nationwide strike over poor pay and staff shortages.
Glenda Alexander from the Nurses Organisation told Morning Report on Thursday she was confident their message had been heard, while he DHBs' spokesperson Jim Green told the programme he was optimistic progress can be made.
