The European Union has announced the launch of its EU Digital Covid Certificate -- set to allow freedom of movement around the bloc.
The EU's Parliament voted overwhelmingly to approve the scheme yesterday - the idea being the EU will be open for travel in the coming months - in time for their summer.
The certificate will log the holder's vaccination record, negative tests, or a record of previous infection, and will be valid in all EU member states, as well as Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway.
Switzerland is also looking likely.
