In Fiji, the number of new Covid-19 cases continues to grow. On Wednesday, a new daily record was made at 94 new cases within twenty-four hours.
The Fiji government is unable to isolate cases at its facilities, and is sending positive people home instead.
There have been calls for the government to declare a state of emergency, but Prime Minister Frank Bainimarama says there is no need.
Fiji has recorded over 600 infections since April.
