The inaugural test cricket championship final against India starting in Southampton tonight is the Black Caps chance to finally reign supreme.
New Zealand, under captain Brendon McCullum, lost to Australia in the 2015 one day World Cup in Melbourne.
They made it back to the final four years later, facing England at Lord's, but were cruelly denied the title when a controversial boundary-count rule when the match was tied led to the home team being crowned champions.
So, will Southampton be third time lucky?
