Green Party concerned about self-isolation pilot for returnees

The Green Party is worried about the Government's plans to let some vaccinated New Zealanders travel to medium risk Covid-19 countries and then self-isolate at home on their return. A pilot programme will begin later this year, to test this out. Businesses can apply to be part of the pilot. However, details on which countries will be included and when this will take place are still being worked through. It's part of the Government's plan to begin the re-opening of the border early next year. The Green's co-leader Marama Davidson told RNZ political reporter Charlie Dreaver her party has a number of unanswered questions.
