Kabul looks set to fall to Taliban in Afghanistan

The Taliban continues to take over parts of Afganistan, and now the US State Department is also admitting the beginning of the end in Kabul and is starting to pull US personnel out. The seizure of Herat and Ghazni mark the biggest prizes yet for the Taliban. They are now in control of 11 of Afghanistan's 34 provincial capitals and the capital Kabul is being threatened. RNZ's US correspondent Simon Marks speaks to Susie Ferguson.
