More than 1500 people were vaccinated on Sunday - the first day of New Zealand's largest drive-through vaccination centre in south Auckland.
The drive-through is initially set to last for seven days with the focus on those who need to be rebooked, any airport staff who have not yet been vaccinated and essential workers.
People were encouraged to bring their bubble to also get vaccinated. However, towards the end of the day, some had to be turned away.
Matt Hannant, Programme Director for the Northern Region Health Coordination Centre, spoke to Corin Dann.
