There is a sense of frustration from many businesses across New Zealand, with the longer lockdown - especially when no Covid-19 cases have been detected in the south island yet.
Brett O'Riley, from the Employers and Manufacturers Association and Leeann Watson Canterbury Employers' Chamber of Commerce say businesses are facing the same problems as last year's nationwide lockdowns, but this time, they have additional obligations to enforce scanning and mask-wearing.
