A wahine Māori with incurable breast cancer believes a new telephone service can help others in her position.
The digital service, called ABCpro, is being trialed out of the Waikato DHB. It allows nurses to treat symptoms and talk with patients on a more immediate basis.
The New Zealand Breast cancer foundation believes it will particularly help people who struggle to travel or live far from hospitals.
