You might think forking out $150 dollars for a bottle of good whiskey is steep - but how about $150,000? A bottle of Scotch whisky is estimated to fetch at least that amount at auction - the tipple is estimated to be the world's oldest single malt Scotch whisky ever to be bottled, at around 80 years old. It was made by the independent whisky maker Gordon & MacPhail, and it's decanter and oak case were designed by architect Sir David Adjaye. The whiskey is currently on display at Sotheby's galleries in London in advance of the October auction. Blair Bowman is a whisky consultant and broker in Edinburgh
