Middlemore Hospital is back in the news this morning after a person arrived at the hospital yesterday with an undiagnosed case of Covid-19. That person is now in managed isolation.
This just days after staff at the hospital were stood down and wards closed to new admissions after a patient later diagnosed to have Covid-19 was placed in a hospital room with 3 other patients.
Four wards were closed, patients were isolated, and nearly 30 staff were stood down, 149 people were tested.
