The head of a Hauraki Plains health organisation says the community will be feeling anxious about how far Covid-19 may have spread.
Te Korowai Hauora o Hauraki is running a pop-up testing centre at a local Wharekawa marae, and chief executive Riana Manuel, a registered nurse, will be there to help.
She told reporter Amy Williams she expects hundreds of people to be tested today as news of the new cases spreads.
