Auckland principals are hoping the government will make further changes to help their students get the NCEA qualification.
They say extra credits for those who have spent twenty or more school days in lockdown are not enough for students who are losing at least thirty-three school days to Auckland's lockdown.
The maximum support currently available is one extra credit for every five that students achieve and lower benchmarks for merit, excellence and University Entrance.
