A New Zealand soldier accused of spying is in court today at the Linton Military Camp.
The man, who has interim name suppression, was charged with 17 offences last November, amid suspicion he was part of a far-right extremist group.
Among the charges are espionage - or spying - a crime that has never been tried before in New Zealand.
