"There's only one game in town, and that's vaccination. Everything else is stop gap measures".
That's the view of Auckland epidemiologist Professor Rod Jackson.
Jackson says politicians should be putting more energy into making sure 95 percent of the eligable population is vaccinated - rather than figuring out how to open the borders.
