It was a quick - and very expensive - decision for Sarah Dixon to return to Ireland last month.
She has been living in New Zealand for 14 years but needed to return home to Ireland after the sudden death of her father.
Like the 25,000 New Zealand citizens and residents, she entered the ballot to securing MIQ spots to get back home yesterday.
It was the third release of the MIQ virtual lobby system, with around 3700 rooms released - and Sarah Dixon got one.
She spoke to Morning Report's Corin Dann.
