Limited quarantine capacity has been blamed for the cancellation of Bay Dreams, one of New Zealand's largest music festivals.
Event organisers say the difficulty of securing space for international artists to quarantine meant the only option was to cancel.
Two festival dates had been set for January in Nelson and Tauranga and were sold out.
