Thousands of New Zealanders stuck overseas are pinning their hopes on today's MIQ announcement - which could improve their chances of getting back into the country.
Shorter MIQ times and isolating at home are being put forward as possibilities.

Susie Ferguson spoke to Covid-19 response minister Chris Hipkins who admitted there are weaknesses within the system.
