Auckland Airport's outgoing boss has run out of patience and is urging that stranded New Zealanders overseas be allowed to return home.
Chief executive Adrian Littlewood says scientific advice should be heard and that thousands of double vaccinated returnees should be welcomed back and asked to self-isolate.
He also wants a firm date for the international border to reopen.
