It's emerging that an explosion outside Liverpool Women's Hospital that destroyed a taxi and killed its passenger could have been much worse.
Britain's terrorism threat level has been lifted to "severe" - meaning an attack is highly likely - following the blast, which occured moments before a ceremony to honour the country's war dead.
The driver is being hailed as a hero, after reportedly becoming suspicious of his passenger and locking the doors.
Four men have been arrested under the terrorism act.
